Tadhamon Bank Reinforces Its Role in Supporting Innovation and Empowering Youth as a Diamond Sponsor of TEDx Aden

In line with its belief in nurturing and empowering youth and supporting innovation, Tadhamon Bank provided diamond sponsorship for TEDx Aden (TEDxSeaLineRD), which was held in the city of Aden. The event aimed to spread creative, innovative, motivational, and inspiring ideas through 12 speakers, and witnessed strong attendance from youth and interested participants from various parts of Yemen.

The speakers’ contributions focused on seven main themes: mental health, space, the environment and generations, differences in customs and traditions, diving skills, and the capabilities of people with special needs. The event also featured artistic performances, including singing, music, and drawing, reflecting Yemeni cultural identity and the rich diversity of Yemeni art from different regions.

Among the most prominent segments and creative ideas, Amr Al-Qasimi shared his experience and journey in training and deep-sea diving locally and internationally, revealing many exciting adventures that turned the impossible into the possible. Zakaria recounted his story of moving from a village to the city and the challenges he faced that created barriers between him and society, while Taha Hasel shared his inspiring story at TEDxSeaLine, proving his resilience in overcoming challenges on his path to success.

Through rare documents and maps, environmental consultant Ibrahim Munaiem also presented how the Aden Nature Reserve once abounded with diverse natural and economic resources, how those resources were utilized, and the economic sectors that shaped that era—an inspiring historical journey to better understand our present and look forward to a brighter future.

The event showcased many inspiring experiences and creative, innovative ideas worthy of wider dissemination, with the potential to drive change and create a positive impact on communities.
